Our team has been awarded Seattle Bride Magazine's Best Wedding Planner, King 5’s Best of Western Washington Best Wedding Planner, along with Wedding Wire’s Couples Choice Awards, The Knot’s Best of Weddings and Hall of Fame. We have been published in Seattle Bride Magazine, as well as featured on popular wedding blogs such as Style Me Pretty and Wedding Chicks.

Hi, I’m Sarah, owner and senior planner/designer of this little dream of mine known as EVENTful Moments. I am happily married and together we have 3 amazing children, a teenage son and boy/girl twins. My family is my world! We reside in Arlington, close to where my husband and I grew up, and absolutely love it. I may love the city life but have come to realize I will always be a country girl at heart.

When I’m not planning events, I love to cook. Some women relax with a bubble bath, for me, it’s a great recipe! I also enjoy crafting, shopping (especially when it's a good deal), date nights with my hubby, snuggling with my incredibly spoiled puppies,  and anything/everything to do with my kids!

The concept of EVENTful Moments began after planning my own wedding. I was the bride that thought I could do everything on my own and while I LOVED the planning process, I didn’t consider the behind the scenes, or how beneficial it could be to have someone on your team with expert advice & resources within the industry. To say the day ended in a blur would be an understatement.

In 2010 I decided to take LWPI’s certified wedding and event planning course and I guess you can say, the rest is history. I can honestly say I have found my dream job. With every couple/client we work with, I find that constant reassurance that this is my calling. It stretches my creativity, problem-solving ability and the relationships we get to build with our couples and vendors, cannot be beat.

I often get asked what my favorite part of a wedding or event is? To me, it’s the end of the day. When your client comes up to you and tells you the day was a dream come true, it’s the best feeling in the world!!!

Growing up as an only child on a 13-acre farm in Arlington, I learned pretty early on how to entertain myself. I loved to read and imagine, and at a pretty young age, I cultivated a love for all things weddings. A few months after starting college I had an epiphany; I needed to be a wedding planner.

After graduating from Western with a BA in Communication and a minor in business, I accepted a position at an all-inclusive wedding venue as a member of their Wedding Planning Team. It was a wonderful way to start my career and gain some experience, but I knew it wasn't the perfect fit. Enter Sarah and Eventful Moments, where I have truly found my tribe and an environment that feels like home.

Since becoming a member of the EM family, I have planned, coordinated and assisted over a hundred weddings, and have loved every second of it.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Rob and together we have two children, our beautiful daughter Emma, and our cat Cinder. We both grew up in Arlington but now reside in Skykomish, where he is a full-time firefighter.

In my free time, I love to cook, snuggle up with a good book (and my kitten), or bust out some Celine Dion karaoke. I also love elephants and have a serious case of wanderlust.

  • I took ballet for 14 years

“Everything happens for a reason”… I became a part of EVENTful Moments in 2012, after meeting Sarah at a Snohomish Wedding Guild meeting. I knew after meeting her, I would love working with her. Over the years, our team has only grown and these girls are like my extended family! I love working with each and every one of them and it truly warms my heart to help our couples make their special day one that they won’t forget!

After graduating from Snohomish High School, I followed through on my goal to attend WSU (Go Cougs!!). I graduated in 3.5 years with my BA in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.

In 2015, I was blessed with the birth of my son Trey, who is my #1 biggest accomplishment of my life. Being a mom is one of the coolest, fun, stressful, exciting things I have ever experienced in my life.

In the summer of 2017 (after being nagged by one of my friends) I went on a first date with my now husband, Mark. He has been one of the biggest blessings that has come into my life and so grateful for him. Together our family also includes two fur babies, a chocolate lab named Chesney and a pitbull named Chloe.

When we aren’t slightly feeling like a crazy circus at home, we love to hang out with our friends and family, go camping and attend Mariners or Seahawks games.

Fun Facts:

  • Travel bucket list: Croatia or Antigua

  • Favorite Holiday: Halloween

  • My go-to drink of choice: Cabernet Sauvignon

  • All-time favorite movie: Just Friends

Hi, I’m Jess! I am the wife of an EMT and the mom to the cutest little boy, Jack! I love all kinds of music (however I’m a country girl at heart), my kitties Hank & Dolly, basically every show on Bravo, and a nice glass of wine. You can find me spending time over the mountains at my family’s cabin any chance I get; Leavenworth is our happy place.

Growing up in the wedding industry, falling into this career made so much sense. I can’t tell you how many barbie weddings I planned as a kid or how many times I’ve watched The Wedding Planner. I’ve always been a sucker for love.

I found my job with EVENTful Moments through Instagram (do you follow us yet??) after I had been in a wedding Jessica Campbell coordinated. Once I met Sarah and the rest of the team, I knew I had found my people! I’m so lucky to be a part of our little family!

Being an EM bride myself, I really could not tell you just how important having a planner is, especially day of! To be able to just be a bride and have my team make my wedding day dreams come true, was so magical and special. I am so lucky to be able to give that feeling back to our brides!

Fun Facts:

  • Travel bucket list: Ireland

  • Favorite Holiday: Christmas

Hello Darlings, I’m Samantha! I met Sarah in 2014 when my husband and I hired her as our wedding planner and it was hands down the best investment we made.

Being a military family, we moved to Ventura, CA shortly after our wedding. I was inspired by the process of planning our wedding and decided to pursue a career in the wedding industry, quickly jumping into a new role with a company based out of Santa Barbara, and thus began my journey.

When we moved back to the PNW, I knew I had to contact Sarah. I am so thankful to be working with such a talented group of women, helping make dreams a reality. Being in love is such a beautiful thing. I am a firm believer that you should get to celebrate your love, your way, and making those dreams come to life for couples, is an absolute dream job.

Outside of work you can almost always find me with my family. Together, my husband and I have two daughters, two huskies & two cats. We live a loud, beautiful life in a place we are proud to call home.

I couldn't be more grateful to join the team of incredible women that make up EM! I quickly discovered recently while helping my sister plan her wedding next August - that I had a hidden talent and knowledge for this role, and knew it was just meant to be when I saw the job posting on Instagram.

I graduated from Central Washington University in 2013 - with my bachelors in Fashion Merchandising. Growing up, my style was ever-changing, I knew I needed a career that would allow me to be creative in that sense! I landed an internship with Nordstrom, moved up the ladder in the Accessories Division. It was there that I learned how to be a servant leader, and take care of people. Over the last 5 years, I have been working in Property Management, leasing, and managing apartment communities over the King County Area! If you were ever one of my residents, HELLO! And Congratulations!

I live in Downtown Snohomish, with my boyfriend of 6 years, 4 year old daughter, and 9 month old son. We have a giant dog we rescued a few years back, and 4 crazy backyard chickens. You can find us visiting local breweries, chasing our favorite food trucks, and spending lots of time with family. I am thrilled to be back where I feel at home, with my creative roots, helping couples carry out their dream wedding. I couldn't have picked a better team to do it with!

Fun Facts:

  • Travel bucket list: Greece, Italy, and Paris

  • Favorite Holiday: Mother's Day

  • My go-to drink of choice: A Good Hazy IPA

  • All-time favorite movie: The Holiday

Growing up with two sisters everything was “girl.” The house was always buzzing with talk about weddings, dresses, updos, nail color, the list goes on. It was natural for me to find my way into the wedding industry in 2014 at an all-inclusive wedding venue and join their wedding planning team. This start of my career gave me knowledge about many aspects of the industry (fixing boutonnieres after the florist left, frosting a cake that was starting to melt) but with a move in 2016, I knew I was ready for a change.

I joined a luxury waterfront property in 2016. I have enjoyed learning the ins and outs of operating a hotel while hosting events and weddings. But was overwhelmed with excitement when Sarah contacted me to join the team. I am excited to bring wedding dreams to life.

When I’m not working I enjoy being outdoors on a sunny day, rollerblading along a windy trail. Snuggling up on the couch watching a movie with the hubs and our three fur babies (Coco, Yeti, and Wendy). Baking a delicious cookie, cake, bread loaf is always so peaceful. But my favorite thing to do is travel. I enjoy seeing exotic locations and getting to experience other cultures.

I’m so thankful that I am part of the EM family. I look forward to participating in bringing happiness on your special day.
