Hi, I’m Sarah, owner and senior planner/designer of this little dream of mine known as EVENTful Moments. I am happily married and together we have 3 amazing children, a teenage son and boy/girl twins. My family is my world! We reside in Arlington, close to where my husband and I grew up, and absolutely love it. I may love the city life but have come to realize I will always be a country girl at heart.

When I’m not planning events, I love to cook. Some women relax with a bubble bath, for me, it’s a great recipe! I also enjoy working out, shopping (especially when it's a good deal), date nights with my hubby, snuggling with my incredibly spoiled puppies,  and anything/everything to do with my kids!

The concept of EVENTful Moments began after planning my own wedding. I was the bride that thought I could do everything on my own and while I LOVED the planning process, I didn’t consider the behind the scenes, or how beneficial it could be to have someone on your team with expert advice & resources within the industry. To say the day ended in a blur would be an understatement.

In 2010 I decided to take LWPI’s certified wedding and event planning course and I guess you can say, the rest is history. I can honestly say I have found my dream job. With every couple/client we work with, I find that constant reassurance that this is my calling. It stretches my creativity, problem-solving ability and the relationships we get to build with our couples and vendors, cannot be beat.

I often get asked what my favorite part of a wedding or event is? To me, it’s the end of the day. When your client comes up to you and tells you the day was a dream come true, it’s the best feeling in the world!!!

Growing up as an only child on a 13-acre farm in Arlington, I learned pretty early on how to entertain myself. I loved to read and imagine, and at a pretty young age, I cultivated a love for all things weddings. A few months after starting college I had an epiphany; I needed to be a wedding planner.

After graduating from Western with a BA in Communication and a minor in business, I accepted a position at an all-inclusive wedding venue as a member of their Wedding Planning Team. It was a wonderful way to start my career and gain some experience, but I knew it wasn't the perfect fit. Enter Sarah and Eventful Moments, where I have truly found my tribe and an environment that feels like home.

Since becoming a member of the EM family, I have planned, coordinated and assisted over a hundred weddings, and have loved every second of it.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Rob and together we have two children, our beautiful daughter Emma, and our cat Cinder. We both grew up in Arlington but now reside in Skykomish, where he is a full-time firefighter.

In my free time, I love to cook, snuggle up with a good book (and my kitten), or bust out some Celine Dion karaoke. I also love elephants and have a serious case of wanderlust.

Fun Facts:

  • I took ballet for 14 years

  • I love to karaoke

  • I love all animals but have a soft spot for kitties and elephants

  • Travel bucket list: Scotland, Brazil, and Italy

  • Favorite Holiday: Thanksgiving

“Everything happens for a reason”… I became a part of EVENTful Moments in 2012, after meeting Sarah at a Snohomish Wedding Guild meeting. I knew after meeting her, I would love working with her. Over the years, our team has only grown and these girls are like my extended family! I love working with each and every one of them and it truly warms my heart to help our couples make their special day one that they won’t forget!

After graduating from Snohomish High School, I followed through on my goal to attend WSU (Go Cougs!!). I graduated in 3.5 years with my BA in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.

In 2015, I was blessed with the birth of my son Trey, who is my #1 biggest accomplishment of my life. Being a mom is one of the coolest, fun, stressful, exciting things I have ever experienced in my life.

In the summer of 2017 (after being nagged by one of my friends) I went on a first date with my now husband, Mark. He has been one of the biggest blessings that has come into my life and so grateful for him. Together our family also includes two fur babies, a chocolate lab named Chesney and a pitbull named Chloe.

When we aren’t slightly feeling like a crazy circus at home, we love to hang out with our friends and family, go camping and attend Mariners or Seahawks games.

Fun Facts:

  • Travel bucket list: Croatia or Antigua

  • Favorite Holiday: Halloween

  • My go-to drink of choice: Cabernet Sauvignon

  • All-time favorite movie: Just Friends

Hello, I’m Demrie! I grew up here in the Snohomish area and this is where I get to raise my two kids, Thomas and Spencer. My kids love adventure just as much as I do! In our free time you will mostly find us outdoors, exploring new areas, and trying new things any chance we get. I like paddle boarding in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. I love baking, attending sporting events (soccer, football, hockey… you name it!), and of course hosting all kinds of events with my friends and family!

All my life I have naturally been drawn to event planning. It was my dream job since I was little and the focus of my career aspirations through high school. I finally took the leap and Sarah made me a part of the EVENTful Moments family and the rest is history! My favorite part about wedding planning is making your perfect vision come to life and truly making your dream a reality. Every wedding is different, creative, and beautiful in its own unique way which keeps the memories lasting a lifetime.

Breonna Sig.png

Assistant Coordinator

Hello! My name is Breonna, I am married to my High School Sweetheart, and we have two amazing little boys Carson and Drew! After graduating from Snohomish High School, I went to Bellevue College where I played softball for 2 seasons. I then transferred to Seattle University to finish my last 2 years of college softball while getting my BA in Psychology. Baseball/Softball is a big part of my family’s life. My husband played for the UW baseball team and then played professionally for 6 years. This experience was incredible as we were able to travel all around the US. However, the best part about my husband playing professionally was the friendships that were made with people from all over the world. So, when I am not assisting with a wedding you will probably find me at a baseball field with my family.

I have always had a passion for event planning. My very favorite thing about planning is getting all the small details just right and knowing the memories from this special day will last a lifetime. When I got the opportunity to meet with Sarah & Jessica to possibly be a part of this team, I instantly felt like I had known these women forever. After our meeting ended, I knew I needed to be a part of this EVENTful Moments Family! Lucky enough they ask me to join, and I said “YES!”

Fun Facts:

  • Travel bucket list: Belize and Santorini

  • Favorite Holiday: Christmas

  • My go-to drink of choice: Hot Chocolate

  • All-time favorite movie: Save the Last Dance & A Walk to Remember

SuJing

Assistant Coordinator

Hey there! My name is SuJing. I get asked all the time how to pronounce it, and I like to tell people it's just "Sue" and "Jing," like the Jing in Jinglebells. The year 2023 was a whirlwind of milestones for me as I was graduating college, exchanging my own vows, moving out for the first time, and sailing the Caribbean on my honeymoon. My journey into the world of weddings began even before my own magical day. Back in 2017, I found myself immersed in the enchanting atmosphere of weddings while working as part of the event support staff at a beautiful venue. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I wanted to be a part of the intricate art of wedding planning. My six years of experience working behind the scenes at the venue only deepened my desire to play a pivotal role in crafting couples’ perfect day. So when the opportunity arose to meet with Sarah and Jessica, I was a mix of nerves and excitement. Instantly upon meeting them both, I felt warm and welcomed and could not have been more excited that they asked me to be a part of their team. When I am not working, you can catch me thrift shopping, at an epic game night, doing anything spontaneous, or just hanging out at home with my husband.

Fun Facts:

  • Travel bucket list: Asia and all 50 states!

  • Favorite Holiday: Christmas

  • My go-to drink of choice: Shirley Temple

  • All-time favorite movie: A Walk to Remember
